I know nothing about photography but a while back I found a blog that features photos of my native city, Montreal. So every morning I check to see what has been posted on Montreal in Pictures. This morning I found that Martin had posted photos of an art installation which consists of a patchwork of colourful crates amongst his daily photos. I think this particular piece of patchwork art took some working out. Click here to see for yourself.
On my travels a few days ago I purchased a 5 metre length of pipe cleaner wire. I sometimes have a hard time cleaning the bobbin area of my sewing machines with the brush supplied so I decided to try using a folded pipe cleaner. It’s relatively inexpensive, easy to find and I bet it will work really well. Monday is my sewing machine cleaning day, so I’ll let you know how I get.
So far it’s been a pretty good weekend. And it’s not over yet. I’ve been searching for recipes because I feel like eating different things. I did the last of the required preparation for my beginner’s class on Monday morning. Tomorrow I plan on playing with something new/different. I think a little machining would make a nice change. It seems an age since I pieced anything. And I haven’t done much cutting lately either. Perhaps it’s a good thing that I will be starting a new Jelly Roll quilt soon. I need a quilt making fix!
So for this evening, this very happy longarm quilter will probably do some knitting. Whatever you may be doing, I hope you have a great weekend. Until you read me again,
Happy stitching.
